  1. I am using a 220/224 581/581 on a 115lsa, this cam is for a blower application. It was Eriks, then Moregrips, and finally got installed in my truck. It sounds like a sleeper compared to the 216/220 114lsa that I had. It really doesn't lope at all, the only thing is that it is a XER lobe cam. I use it N/A, no blower.
  2. I am using Multec IIs, I forgot that you where using the SVO injectors.
  3. I think the upper o-rings are the same, the lower o-rings are different. I have got a set from a Fbody to use with the FAST manifold, I think the bottom o-ring from the car fits alittle better than the truck o-ring. The car manifold has a c-ring in the bottom of the injector boss, the truck manifold does not, so thats why the truck injector has the black plastic on the bottom, to hold the o-ring from falling through the manifold. I removed the plastic on the bottom of the truck injector to get it to fully seat into the FAST manifold.
  4. I hope this week Ben, with being sick then the weather. I just haven't had the time. I am going to start with just a 78mm TB, then see what happens.
  5. I think there are some on ebay for cheaper, the 90mm FAST top is $440 I have adapted the stock fuel rail to the FAST already, the crossover tube doesn't look to pretty. But this is no show and shine under the hood.
  6. I might try the LS2 car manifold, like Erik said its a true 90mm. I like where it peaked also 6400, looks good to me. If I can get my hands on one for the rite price it would be cheaper than the 90mm top for the FAST. I would really like to dyno the 2.
  7. It made 355ftlbs and 350hp at the wheels, It had a problem with the valvetrain at 5200 or so. I have swapped cams and I am going to change to a FAST intake manifold also. I am hoping to make 400hp at the wheels with my new setup. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What cam are you running now? What was the problem? Was the dyno#s with or without the heads? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those numbers where with the WCCH heads and a Comp 216/220 cam on a 114lsa the lift was 555/563 with the 1.8 rockers. I had valve float with the rockers cause the geometry was off. I am
  8. It had a problem with the valvetrain at 5200 or so. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what happened?? did you break something or just lean out?? novanet- how's she running? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was using 1.8 rockers with a low lift Comp cam 216/220, we used a short pushrod to get the preload in the lifter and it just killed the geometry, causing valve float. It did go lean on the stock injector, I am now on 42lb injectors. They where in there for the dyno run.
  9. It made 355ftlbs and 350hp at the wheels, It had a problem with the valvetrain at 5200 or so. I have swapped cams and I am going to change to a FAST intake manifold also. I am hoping to make 400hp at the wheels with my new setup.
  10. Well it doesn't look like the swap will happen this weekend I worked late lastnite and I am sick as hell today. I might as well wait now and just add the 90mm TB all at once I think.
  11. I had trouble with a nonadjustable roller tip rocker, I went with a XER lobe cam and the stock rockers this time. If you do get rollers, make sure they are adjustable. Not sure if there is any gain from a roller tip rocker, I have heard of roller tips causing valve float on a LSx type engine, they where Jesels I believe.
  12. Slow, I thought those Jesels where already on your truck? I think the Edelbrock manifold would be used for a FI purpose, I am not sure about it on a N/A motor. I think Erik would benefit from it with the turbo and big cubes he has.
  13. I will or just send then to Ben so he can. It has been alot of little things to get figured out, but it should be good to go for this weekend. I gotta say BigTex has helped me out a ton, not only with the manifold , but alot of other choices I have made with my truck and the manifold install.
  14. How could I forget you Ben? If it rains here tommorrow I am off, so it might start tommorrow. If not it will be Sat.
