2006 Silverado SS Cam upgrade

Hi. I have a 2003 Chevy silverado ss. I've been thinking about add a cam but didn't no what's the best direction to start. I haven't really done anything upgrades other than a K&N air filter. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cedric.
