  1. Who’s got a 2/2 drop and had luck with it coming out level? What brand/parts used?
  2. I assume the list got stuck at 3-4 lol.... ima just put my Beltech I guess.
  3. Yea true. I have my Belltech ready to go on. Was just giving it a week to see if any real good news. They havent even responded to my email.
  4. If Hotchkis does it, itll be like the previous one I hope where the links are to the front. Unlike the Tahoe and Hellwig where theyre to the rear. When Hotchkis was making them they the links were in the front and ideal for trucks like mine with dual exhaust. Im sure they still have the files of their old sway bars. Hope we get an answer quick so I can either install my Belltech or wait for the Hotchkis one.
  5. Damn! I really wanna get the sway bar on that I have now though lol. Would suck if I put it on and hear back that they got something. I then wont be able to return the Belltech. Wonder what material is used for Hotchkis but I believe they are hollow.
  6. I picked up my ISS in March of this year! I totally see the insecurity part. I dont like it but for deterant I added a column lock. Im in Cali as well.... LA. The truck game here is big so theres a demand on parts. Sucks that you cant even go out and have a nice dinner without having to check up or feel like someone may take it. My buddy had a ISS and they stole it and never recovered it. They frequently checked on him until he slipped. He now has another ISS. He was determined to get one and finally got it a year ago. N yup here ppl are mature compared to FB and all that. You ask a hosest question and get honest answers.
  7. Most of the action is on FB spread out into multiple groups. Im mainly on there but half the time ppl are just trolling. Cant even ask a serious question without getting a stupid answer. If I ask hear, its dead so I then go back to FB in hopes of some sort of answer in the right direction. And then theres google with a bunch of old info I cant use sometimes because the trucks are old ha! Really need to learn how to use this reply thing lol
  8. I emailed them but havent gotten a response and my Belltech just arrived after ordering yesterday. Knowing me Ill put this one on during the weekend and buy the Hotchkis when they run a batch lol.
  9. Damn haha! Ill probably beat you to it. I went under my truck yesterday to recheck everything. Same here looks like my tail pipes may hit since theyre out to the side. I couldnt find anything else with the links to the front so I ended up ordering from Summit. Got impatient and went the safest route haha....woulda liked the Hellwig but Id have to rework my pipes and lose the spare. I saw some threads from few years back that Hotchkis made them but cant find them. Some had part numbers and those dont pull up anymore and Summit says not available. Ima Call Hotchkis and see whats up before I install the Belltech. I have Hotchkis on my 70MC and that thing is massive and holy sh** did it make a difference.
  10. Hey guy, so I have a stock ISS I wanna add a rear sway bar to. Id go with Hellwig but I have a dual exhaust so it wont clear. I was looking into the Belltech one with the links towards the front. Does anyone who if theres a performance difference between links in the front or rear of a he axle?? Other option I was thinking of was using a GM SUV rear sway bar and adapt it. That one has the links to the back... anyone know how a stock rear sway bar would perform vs the Belltech??? Any other sway bars that can bolt up and work with the custom dual tail pipes I have? The muffler shop made them so it wasnt a standard bolt on muffler kit.
  11. Well thats the best way to confirm. Having 1 of each Haha! Cool thanks for the info. My ISS is stock but have seen other ISS and SS that seem a smidge lower and was just curious if they where lowered or mine was lifted. It sits at 35 and 36 at the center of the fender well lip to the ground. Well thats the best way to confirm. Having 1 of each Haha! Cool thanks for the info. 12. The way the article is written seems to compare it to the regular SS.... thats why I asked. Just curious to see where it should be. Since Im not the first owner. Heres the clip I read When compared to the "normal" Silverado SS, the Intimidator is more than just a badge package. It will include a lowered ride height, performance suspension, two-stage multi-leaf springs, Tenneco shocks, a stiffer front stabilizer bar and harder front jounce bumpers.
  13. Does anyone know the measurements to the ISS stock ride height? From what I read it sounds it may be lower that the regular SS??
  14. Yea i get the SSI rpo would be the only way to know a ISS is real. Was just wondering what other RPO codes would identify the SS. On another thread i saw the 1SS broken down to everyting in the SS package so was just wondering...... Mainly i guess i wanna get personalized plates but not sure what... was thinking of doing the 1SS or SSX whichever was the SS rpo followed by SSI.....
