Torsion bar in lower control arm
TxSilverado361 replied to Lukes 2002 silverado's topic in Suspension & Brakes
That sounds about right. My 97 K1500 looked that way last I checked. I believe they need room for the arm to move up and down. Sort of like a torque stick allows for flex without breaking. -
Is that a Ravelco anti-theft? I bet that's what kept them from stealing the whole truck. Some illegals stole my dad's truck from my high school parking lot 10 years ago. Hopped in through the passenger side and in minutes were gone.

From 2013? I mean I guess you could ask lol

Help, Leaf spring center bolt missing something?
TxSilverado361 replied to Standing_Arnold's topic in Suspension & Brakes
Dcairns' truck has three leafs in it, maybe the picture is a bad angle but it looks like yours only has 2. Since the shackles are most likely 2-3" lowering ones, I want to say they took a leaf out to get it lower. From my understanding the 3" setting on lowering shackles sometimes isn't a true 3" unless you remove a leaf. -
Both above are correct posts. reading the PT.net link, it says the RST only came in a a manual 4.8, while the 5.3 was only automatic. Usually a V in the vin is the 4.8 and the 5.3 has 3 or 4 different letters like Z or T, depending which exact one it is.

Maybe it's my phone, but a lot of the pictures look dark. I think it would be close to $19k, maybe even $20k if there wasn't an accident reported on it!

Dodge Wheels on a Silverado - TPMS Questions
TxSilverado361 replied to shineybike's topic in Rims and Rubber
I don't think the dodge TPMS can be programmed to the Chevy. I'm sure they have a different frequency. You could put your truck in re-learn mode by holding the check/okay button on the TPMS screen, try letting out a couple pounds of air from the dodge wheels and see if it programs, or if you have a TPMS reader to set it off. I do believe the 2019 Ram have gone to a 6 lug and for GM full size. I remember seeing a 2019 Ram on 24" GM replicas. -
Didnt this truck belong to Randy? https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-Chevrolet-Silverado-SS-d631#listing=246429658

For an AWD it's 2GCEK19N and a RWD would be 2GCEC19N. The C is for C1500 or RWD, and K is for K1500, the 4wd/AWD. The N is for the LQ9. If I'm not mistaken.

I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure Dot4 brake fluid is backwards compatible for Dot3, just not the other way around. I believe it's just a better engineered fluid having a higher boiling point and longevity of life compared to Dot3. If there's not any specifics on the bottles, you could always call a GM dealer or two and see what they say.

No doubt, profile says Florida, the paint looks pretty bad on hood and roof, but even then, not a bad price for the mileage! Someone will scoop her up real quick!

Could someone tell me what wheels these are? They look like 22s to me or are they 20s? Sorry if the link comes out long, copy and pasted. https://m.facebook.com/100006992342527/posts/pcb.2337843122942812/?photo_id=2274021119507611&mds=%2Fphotos%2Fviewer%2F%3Fphotoset_token%3Dpcb.2337843122942812%26photo%3D2274021119507611%26profileid%3D0%26source%3D48%26refid%3D18%26ref%3Dgroup_header%26_ft_%3Dqid.6673135318008846809%3Amf_story_key.2337843122942812%3Agroup_id.138243336236146%3Atop_level_post_id.2337843122942812%3Atl_objid.2337843122942812%3Acontent_owner_id_new.100006992342527%3Acommerce_rank_obj.%7B%22viewer_id%22%3A0%2C%22target_id%22%3A2337843122942812%2C%22target_type%22%3A3%2C%22primary_position%22%3A4%2C%22secondary_position%22%3A-1%2C%22search_query%22%3A%22%22%2C%22search_sid%22%3A%22%22%2C%22session_id%22%3A6922677366284091392%2C%22typeahead_sid%22%3A%22%22%2C%22ranking_signature%22%3A6922677366284091392%2C%22commerce_channel%22%3A103%2C%22commerce_type%22%3A2%2C%22ectr%22%3A0%2C%22value%22%3A0%2C%22model_scores%22%3A%7B%7D%2C%22upsell_candidate_ids%22%3A[]%2C%22upsell_type%22%3Anull%2C%22metadata%22%3A%7B%7D%2C%22ad_imp_delivery_data_binary%22%3Anull%2C%22qp_renderer_type%22%3Anull%2C%22is_multi_advertiser_ad%22%3Afalse%2C%22multi_advertiser_ad_item_index%22%3A-1%2C%22top_unit_ranking_score%22%3Anull%7D%3Asrc.22%3Aphoto_attachments_list.[2274021119507611%2C2274021189507604]%3Astory_location.6%3Astory_attachment_style.album%26__tn__%3DEH-R%26cached_data%3Dfalse%26ftid%3D&mdp=1&mdf=1

I've been searching around the web and can't seem to find anything on this. I recently bought the new M12 Fuel stubby 3/8 impact wrench, and it's claimed to have a max torque rating of 250. I've used it on basic nuts and bolts I know are not even close to that and it couldn't get them off. Does anyone here have that tool/similar experience?
