BenKey
The things I would want to know are: Are the fans wired individually? Can they come on at separate temps? Are they on all the time? If not, can they be? Are there different speeds? If wired individually, will both come on when the A/C is on? One of my fans operates at 50%, 100% of the time. The other comes on at whatever temp I set it at, 50% as well. When I turn on my A/C, they both go to 100%.

zippy
i believe there may be a way to activate the fans using the harness at hand with some programming changes, but that hasn't been tried that i know of.
cokedrvrbjw
So whats the total look like...if we were to get the pcm programed and all...around 8?
BenKey
One thing I would recommend with your harness is a quick-disconnect for the power side of the fans. That way when something is done like a cam install, or other, it's just a matter of pulling them apart and removing the fans vs possibly cutting wires, or having to disconnect a few things. Just a suggestion. Makes it easier for radiator removal, etc....

vdrumright
Great instructions!! Too bad the wife didnt come with those! So whats the total damage gonna run, around $800, if i needed to get the pcm. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont see why it shold be even close to $ 800.00. I think others have priced out the parts at @$450.00. harness is $ 80.00. The cost to get your pcm programed for it depends on your tuner. In my case it only cost $25.00 because I already had a custom tune from pcmforless at thant is what he charges for udated tunes. A..........................................B 450.00.................................... 450.00 80.00..................................... 80.00 25.00 tune upgrade .................250.00 New custom tune including fans 555.00....................................$780.00 Option A is fans plus having the pcm programed to operate fans if you alreday have a custom tune. Option B is a complete custom tune and fans Again these are estimated prices. Actual prices will depend of where you buy the parts and who does your tune. This is my guess on pricing. CoolBlueSS
Nice job and good info. Sounds pretty straight forward to me. I'm guessing that since the fans have to be programed into the PCM that they come on with the A/C?
