Chevy Silverado Cab swap

I have a 2005 Silverado with rusted out cab.  So I bought at auction a 2004 Silverado that was in an accident that blew steering wheel airbag but cab was in good shape.  I pulled the rusted out 2005 cab off and replaced it with the 2004 cab.  I took the 2004 blown airbag out and replaced with the airbag from the 2005.  When I try to start it turns over good but doesn't fire.  Checked codes with OBD2 tool and get B0051 (Deployment Commanded) code that can not be erased.  Removed airbag control module from under driver seat and sent to online place to get codes removed.  Got module back installed it and truck still turns over but doesn't fire.  Checked codes and get P1631 (Theft Deterrent Start Enable Signal Not Correct).  Tried the solution of turning key on for 11 minutes, off for 30 seconds, on for 11 minutes, off for 30 seconds, on for 11 minutes, off for 30 seconds on for 30 seconds.....still no fire.

Question is can you swap cabs like this without having a computer vin number mismatch or some other computer issue?

Any help would be appreciated.
