all-of-it Posted January 8, 2019 Report Share Posted January 8, 2019 Newbie post to explain why i am here. Currently have a 03 SS in the beat lab that im doing some (a lot of) work to. SO hopefully throughout this experience i can expand my knowledge by soaking up yours, as well as sharing what i have learned over the years. Im (i guess) known for being biased toward LS based vehicles with turbos and have tinkered with a couple... With that being said the owner of the truck came to me wanting a couple lil turbos fabbed up. He is aiming for all function, worry about the fancy part later. ill do my best to keep an updated log of the build process. Constructive criticism is appreciated. Thanks guys n gals. Shouldve been a 8 but track manager didnt like me going that fast with no parachute or NHRA license, so that was the last past i was allowed to make. all-of-it Posted January 21, 2019 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2019 One learns to appreciate subject specific forums after sifting through endless amounts of 'chit on sites, groups and pages that aren't dedicated to a specific (in this case) vehicle that everyone can collaborate on. So with that said, Thank you! Doing some rearranging with the bulk of the harness and fuse panel. Likely stick the pcm some where (under dash?) ,out of sight and suck the fuse panel back in the corner up against the firewall more. Told myself if I do another harness I would completely de-pin the connectors, but hoping to cheat it a lil without doing as much work. Got some mandrel bends, flanges and v-bands on Friday.
