1981evildisco Posted October 7, 2016 Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 The QA1 905 Shocks do not fit the SS, well at least my Intimidator. I called the manufacturer and they are working through it. The specific problem is the lower shock mount. The oem shock eye bolt is longer than the QA1. (Distance from center of eye hole to bottom of shock body). I'm returning the shocks to Summit, and QA1 is going to sell me the TD905(double adjustable) for the same price. The TD's have a longer distance from center of eye bolt to bottom of shock body. Just wanted to post this so that others don't have the same issue.
