06 V-Max GT5 rear axle 9.5 or 10.5

Trying to find out if rear diff GT5 is 9.5 or 10.5 need to replace rear axle seal and bearings.

10.5" is a full floater like what you'd find in an 8 lug 3/4 ton, or a 1 ton, won't be what is in your truck.

 

Yours should be the 9.5" semi floater same as a RWD SS. But if I recall it's a different one from many of the other 9.5's, something like a cross between a 14 bolt and a 10 bolt? IIRC 1Fastbrick wrote up a big article about these over on Performancetrucks. You may want to check it (or wait for his reply) as the parts you're after may not be the same as the bulk of 9.5" 14 bolts out there.

 

In that first post you'll see RPO AXN that's what you want to look at.

It would be a 9.5 with option code AXN.

 

It will use the same 10 bolt outer axle bearings and seals.
