EXGM
Took forever to get around to posting these... I spent two days clay baring and waxing but it came out nice. All I can say is its a lot of work to wax one of these! These were taken back in January.... LOL.
someotherguy
Looks great! I hear you about the amount of work to wax it. What was really a chore was washing/waxing my old '92 C1500 extended cab longbed, got that truck in the late 90's and Caddy clipped it, painted it Caddy white diamond. Had to wash/wax it in shifts, I swear. That's a lot of truck. Richard
Downeast Johnny
Your truck looks great man. Mine is due but it's gotta warm up a little more first.
EXGM
Your truck looks great man. Mine is due but it's gotta warm up a little more first. Thanks!! There are advantages of living in the south. It was 75 today according to my truck when I left work. Lol Looks great! I hear you about the amount of work to wax it. I'll need to do again here in the spring before it gets too hot down here! Edited February 29, 2016 by EXGM (see edit history)

EXGM
Looks great! nice work Thanks. It is the largest vehicle I've waxed. It did take longer there was a ton of overspray on the bed from a jippo bumper repair the dealer did before I bought. One of those Mobil repair places did some touch up on the bumper and I was scrubbing it off for a while..... At least next time will be quicker! levilz
Bless you. I did mine, including the tonneau and was stiff as a board for the next few days. Lol. Can't beat the look of a freshly waxed SSS though.
EXGM
Bless you. I did mine, including the tonneau and was stiff as a board for the next few days. Lol. Can't beat the look of a freshly waxed SSS though. I never said I felt good after.... I get neck and shoulder pain. I use a porter cable d/a buffer to apply the wax but you still need to remove by hand..... My shoulders hurt just thinking about doing again ? someotherguy
Thanks! I built it myself out of a piece of poo, had it for around 8 years. In that pic it actually had around 225K miles on it but hardly a thing wrong as over the years I had replaced, rebuilt, modified, etc. anything you could imagine on it. Not too long after that pic, it got stolen and stripped. I rebuilt the recovered shell and sold it off because it made me sick to even look at it!
