carson_frankens
I'm taking my 03 SSS to the track this Saturday and I'm wondering what to expect? It's got a CAI, dual Flowmaster exhaust with catalytic converters removed, and a custom tune Would mid 14's be too much to hope for? Aldofashow
High 14 would be nice low 15 maybe but probably mid 15 post up after the track see how she does
70chevy03ss
I ran a 14.8 with a tune cai and flowcrapper. Sorry flow master Good luck and have fun. Also ditch the flow master
JC03SS
Your probably looking at a low 15. I doubt you will hit mid 14's unless you put some good headers on and a really good tune.
diggerdan11
My best with the same mods as you was 14.67 so it might be possible for you to get mid 14's A lot will depend on elevation, temperature, etc.... When I ran 14.67 it was an elevation of 200ft and it was about 70 outside, when I made runs in Phoenix the elevation is like 1200 and it was around 100 degrees My best was 15.
levilz
May help to know what track you'll be running on. My current truck with a cat-back and a CAI on the stock tune ran 14.9. My last SSS had minor tuning done with a buddy's HP Tuners, and only exhaust work (stock manifolds and cats with true duals with magnaflows), and it ran 14.7. With what you have done, if you're not running in a DA over like 3000', you should be able to get close to a mid 14. 8hnpSS
depending on your elevation and DA mid 14 to high 14s is definitely not a far reach. my truck ran 14.7 multiple times with a tune intake / exhaust
canadianVRss
I went 15.0 with tune LT headers and CAI. DA was 3500 or so that night I believe. My track is at 2200ft and usually very humid so it usually has a DA of 3000+ Knowing where your track is will greatly help us guess a time. carson_frankens
Well guys, I managed a 14.5 with the tail gate and headlight removed. Not too bad Id have to say for a 250,000 mile truck

canadianVRss
Nice time. Your track must be pretty low.
