So I have a slight squeal while turning and have some fluid on my pump.... Is it safe to assume I need a new one or what else could it be? Also what one do I order the 7200lb vac or 6400lb vac unit? I'm not low on fluid tho so not sure, hoping Its not the steering gear

I got 175,000 on both mine with no squeal I'm swapping out for the hydro boost unit if ya gotta replace anyways you might wanna think about doing the swap also.

I hear nothing but good things but I have yet to find out hopefully I'll be done before the weekend.

Not off hand but there already many write ups on here.

I'm converting my whole system to the hydro boost setup as it is in the 2500 trucks I ordered every thing from rock auto except the hydro boost that I got from a member here and I also got a redhead steering box I got a lot of miles so I wanted all new stuff wasn't cheap you could T the hydro boost into your stock system way cheaper search and see how others have done it for next to nothing

I'll be back at my garage in a couple hours I'll look any other part numbers you need I can give you what I have for hoses and high pressure lines also I got everything I could from Rockauto pretty cheap but you can get these from the dealership quicker but it would cost a lot more money

It was old and had been through an accident and was leaking a bit piece of mind mainly and it's supposed to be better built then stock since everything else is new figured it was the best choice for my situation5b303591273eb3a5f4a84b591f628d0b.jpg

Yes and it will be as GM designed it to be not sure it's any better then a T but it sure gives me piece of mind that it's how they designed it to be so there should be no problems down the line
