has anyone used the fiberglass cladding on their ss from ebay? custom auto parts US is the company making it. curious on fittment. really want to get my truck fixed and im wearing out the search bar.

I don't think you'll be happy with it honestly. Fiberglass parts never look right and I have seen more than my fair share of cracked parts that shouldn't/wouldn't have cracked if they were flexible. Which cladding pieces specifically are you looking for?

I know a guy making them locally here in Houston.

Been wanting to try my chances with it for a clone, but still thinking about it.

Rather that, than buying stolen OEM claddings off an SS or some.

Something that happens more than not here in the south.

Some pieces you can still buy new on ebay.  I got the right rear bedside piece, brand new OEM GM, for ~$150.  Haven't looked to see if the pieces you're after are on there.

Man I have hunted quickparts.com has it cheaper than oem so i may bite the bullet
