kaze_v8
Whats up fellas? So I had a change in plans, after contemplating an LS2 swap into my truck, I decided not to, after figuring out the engine I was trying to buy had a trashed block. Decided to spend the money on a blower, I got myself a whipple side mount, and now I need to create some sort of check list or plan of attack. Since its a side mount, I want to first of all run an air to air intercooler, secondly I wanna go full blown e85 while im at it. What size injectors should I run, or style? Im anticipating also getting a Vic Jr. Another question I had was, I see when guys go e85 they always say walbro 255, I come from an import background and to me a 255 is way to small for any e85 needs, and I don't want to go through the hassle of running dual 255's, wouldn't a 340lph be good enough? Another thing is for the intercooler setup, would you guys recommend getting a BOV? Idk much about these side mount setups work, but I figure for efficiency running a BOV in between the charger and the IC piping. Thanks for the help, cant wait to get started on this. 1BAD2K
I agree on the 340, the 255 won't be enough imo, but depends on your goals.
Thickcajun
I have the single 340 with the Ford Injectors that are flowing 55#'s @ 58psi. At 12#'s of boost they are close to being maxed out...
kaze_v8
How do you run ford injectors on these engines, is there some sort of adapter harness needed? So I should shoot for higher than 55#? Are you on E85 Bryan?

Thickcajun
Starts of good but gets ugly as hell...I figure someone will chime in on there E85 experience.. I hate misinformation and i might have handed you a load of crap, but i dont know nearly enough to say either way!
GI.SS
e85 requires 30% more fuel. I run deka 80's with pump 93 and at 8-9 psi im at 70% iirc. so you will be looking at getting something similar or a little larger to start
WantaSSS
^ This...If you for sure are going e85 then go nothing less than 80lb. It will give you a little more room starting out. I went with a walbro 450 pump as its e85 safe. and siemen deka 80lb. just running 92 for now but am e85 ready.
kaze_v8
Damn 400 bucks for some 80lb injectors, that's dirt cheap! So those Deka injectors are direct bolt in right?
WantaSSS
new? thats a decent price. I bought mine with 5k on them for 300. Stock intake? you will need adapters for sure on the electrical connector mine were multitec to ev1. If I remember correctly they are a little taller than stock injectors but you just need to space the stock rails up.
