Time to go buy another pit...give me a good excuse to drink to much and stay outside! It's not too tough to pick up. Do a search for "The smoking meat" forum or "The Smoke Ring" and start studying. She'll be set for tomorrow ...thanks for the words of advise... Many people probably don't even realize to do that... Especially with the cheaper zinc plates grills... I've seen people at the beach break out the small pits from Walmart throw some charcoal on and start cooking.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I always rub down the inside of a new smoker with a drenched towl of olive oil, lots of salt and pepper... Then heavy smoke it with a blend of all the wood I got for minimum 2-3 hours constantly adding more wet wood chips to ensure it stays smoking...
