MID12sSSS
Hmm $750 for driveshafts? I haven't gotten a quote yet to get mine built.. That's what they cost?? Are those prices "shipped"?

Are those prices "shipped"? All depends on the shop and how much power you want to support. I've paid over $1200 for a single driveshaft before. Always open to offers. I see you're in Alaska, so shipping might be expensive. I would need your zipcode to check.
kaze_v8
I was wondering the same thing? Why steel driveshafts? Arent the stock SS ones, aluminum?
MID12sSSS
Steel is stronger. When you do an 80 swap, it's usually because the 65 won't take the power you're producing. Why would you want a big badass trans, then aluminum driveshafts? Steel won't shear open like a soda can when you're putting huge power to the ground. MID12sSSS
And in my case, I don't have a shop near by that will touch aluminum driveshafts... But I prefer steel anyways.
kaze_v8
I get that, I just figured for that price youd be getting aluminum DS. But then again I wouldn't know, Ive built cars not a truck, and ive always used aluminum as the "higher" alternative.
