onebadmax
Getting back in topic, OP a 3000 stall is going to drive mostly* stock until you floor it. Of course you need to retune some transmission parameters. Any tuner worth a grain of salt will know this.

Fireman31
Not really but I am wondering where they are. I haven't seen them heckle anybody lately. Just trolling for some activity, carry on.
GI.SS
The shorties do have performance gains. More torque and power down low. Long rubes gives you more HP and less torque higher in the RPM's. HP doesnt get you going, its torque. Show me proof that they flow better than a manifold and are better than a longtime header in any aspect. You better check yourself on that one. Blown 346
Its a proven fact the shorty headers gain more low end torque. I never said shorties are better than long tubes. You did. You can stop the big boy attitude.

12'SROCK
Shorty headers DO GAIN HP/TQ over stock manifolds. It's not a whole lot but a gain is a gain in my book. If you don't want long tube headers for what ever the reason may be but want more power then get some shorty headers.
