Sent from my Galaxy S-Fawhore I believe it was rustoleum titanium silver. It was part of their metallic series. Also I used a clear enamel and it covered most of the metallic flakes. And no adehisive promoter just clean real good with alcohol
SickChevy06
I painted my grille black and had it repainted silver same paint used on my rims if it helps, clear was shot flat for a more stock look and bowtie is pinstriped
bassmaster
found this post. judging by the ISS grille being very close to the brake duct color, as is this, i think ill have to pick up some of this paint I created a thread earlier last week asking if anyone knew the color tothe grey on the bottom of the bumper so that I could paint the BowTie tomatch. Unfortunately there is no color code for it. Went to Lowes andfound a pretty damn good match. Rust-Oleum - High Heat Ultra. Silver Metallica color. Thiscolor is damn near exact to the grey, but it does have some metallic init. Cannot tell a big difference unless you really study both thebumper vents and the bowtie. Once it dried i put a clear coat on it. Rust-Oleum - Acrylic Enamel. Gloss. Crystal Clear. IMO it looks very good and way better then the black i had on the bowtie. Gives the front more of a pop. rickyrick562
That's the same paint I used for my bowtie. My grilles are the one I posted above. I used a gloss clear so maybe if I use a non gloss it might look closer to stock
bassmaster
That's perfect! I'll pick those two up ASAP, and I guess some adhesive promoter as well Sent from my Galaxy S-Fawhore
bassmaster
Picked up these after work. Didn't have the Rust-o acrylic clear so I got flat valspar clear. Also didn't have any adhesive promoter. There was plastic primer, but wasn't sure about it. I sprayed a piece of cardboard to get an idea of how the spray/clear will look. Currently drying Sent from my Galaxy S-Fawhore Edited November 14, 2013 by bassmaster (see edit history)

bassmaster
Sample done. 2 shitty coats of silver with one coat of clear. The color itself looks good but not sure if i like the shine to it. Although when it's on the tiny pieces of grille rather than flat square I doubt you'll be able to tell  Flash on Sent from my Galaxy S-Fawhore
Thing1
I'd recommend some dupli color perfect match paint from O'rileys but it looks like you already got a silver that will work .

bassmaster
How do the brake duct inserts come out? There's 4 plastic pins but there solid, and not little lift tabs Edit. Guess I'll need to tape around the grille shell since those inserts don't come out either. The lower bumper one looks like it comes out by itself right?
