2bfast Posted October 28, 2013 Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 Iv been there a couple times for work. Freightliner put us up in the Venetian/Palazzio hotel (sp). That was quite impressive. It took us two days to figure out how to get back to our rooms consistantly without getting lost. They also picked up our tickets to the Cirque du Soleil and Sundays Sprint cup race at the LV Speedway. Didnt get to do much the second time around as it was a shorter trip. All in all, it was fun. I was there for work so I didnt get to see as much as you would as a tourist. But if I was going to spend the money to go somewhere on a trip I wouldnt spend my money to go to Las Vegas. Although going to LV for the sole purpose for SEMA then seeing a few other things while you there sure. But not just to see the casinos, shows, and other tourest attractions. They use to have a Z06 but since no one seems to remember how to drive a stick they only do fancy foreign auto/paddle shift cars now :/. They do offer a z06 drift experience though that is pretty cool. I'm a pilot so the aviation stuff to do is really cool if you like that stuff. You can actually go up in two seater aerobatic extra 330s and DOG FIGHT laser tag style!!!!! EPIC! The pilots are all ex-fighter pilots so if you don't know squat about planes it is still fun as heck and beats the new york new york roller coaster any day of the week. Hoping to have a good time and drink lots of adult drinks. I've never been and I don't gamble. Gonna go meet Zippy, and probably go slap Rick at the pawn shop. No other plans as of now. When I go with my girl it's usually a nicer room and we spend our time catching different shows, doing some shopping and there are plenty of top notch places to eat in Vegas.
