Goodyear Eagle GT's

Recommended Posts

Anybody running Eagle GT's on their SS? What do you think? I put a set an a 9-3 Aero when Goodyear first released them, but sold the car soon after. Plus, a whole different animal on a SS. Let me know what you guys think.

They look to be a decent tire and have pretty good reviews. For the money though id recommend the Nitto 420S. Ive had great luck with them on my truck.

I have the gt2's on mine in 305/50/20. Not a bad tire so far.

They have the Eagles GT's in the stock size, and to be all season rated, I think they are a good looking tire.

I run the GT's on my Sierra in stock size. I got them October 1st and have almost 3000 on them. Great tire so far. I one mishap with a pothole 3 weeks in, but overall I like them. On tire rack they were the same proce as the LS2

Had a good rain this evening. The GT's have better wet traction than my old Cooper Discoverer H/T plus' I ran before. They are the same size, same wheel and nothing has changed on the truck. Now I can say thay I am happy with them 3300 miles in.

I'm looking to get GT 2 in 305/50r20 but Goodyear is going to start making them in February of 2014. ....just a heads up if anyone is looking for that size

I put a set of 275 55 R20 Goodyear Eagle GT on my 2003 Silverado SS two years ago... I have really low miles (47K) and I like them fine... but the tread design is aggressive and they're kind of noisy on the road. They ride a little bit rougher than the stock Eagle LS also. I won't buy them again... but I'm not unhappy with them. Currently have about 3K on them and no issues at all.
