Just got off the phone with Bryan at PCMforLeSS and he reccommended the 180 degree stat. for my truck (B/C I am in Alaska). So what stat is the best one? SLP, JET, ????? Help me out here. TBSS Posted October 14, 2004 Report Share Posted October 14, 2004 It doesn't seem to matter, it appears that the only thermostats out there are Hypertech - that's what everyone is selling. Zippy - Is there a 160* thermostat out there other than the Hypertech? i think only motorad makes them for this truck and if hypertech has that contract i'd have to say yes. they do work well though. styleandspeed Posted October 15, 2004 Report Share Posted October 15, 2004 If you go buy a stock replacement at oreilly auto parts they give you a motorad one that is a 185 degree although stock is 195.
