skrlin
Thanks Blown 346, I noticed you are in Rockford, Plainfield here. I just hate like hell to replace the throttle body and find out its not causing the P1516, will check grounds this week and will get plugs, wires, filter and new fluid for tranny from the dealer, can get stuff for cost. JC03SS
Def change yr fuel filter. If its original its way over due. Could be a bad plug or wire. Hopefully it's not the tranny
J~Riz
I've just recently had the same issue with my SS and from all the research I've done you are pretty fortunate that your throttle body lasted as long as it did. I replaced mine and it still tripped P1516 and I traced it back to a loose ground on the back of the passenger side cylinder head. Pull the ground, clean it up and put it back on with a lock washer and if you still have issues there is a yellow wire in the TAC connector that tends to get weak and break off under the insulated layer so you have no way of knowing. If the ground doesnt fix it then replace your TAC connector harness. Hope this helps.
