BlueAKSSS
Hey guys haven't been on the site much but I've been working on my SS a little bit here and there. Anyways I decided to upgrade my front brakes since the rotors were completely warped. I decided to do the 13" front brake upgrade instead of replacing what was there. I got calipers, mounting brackets, pads and rotors for a (2007 Chevy Tahoe 4WD 5.3L) at my local parts store. Everything was a direct bolt on, bleed them and now I should be good to go. I've yet to test drive but I'm sure it will be much better than old warped rotors and they will be less likely to warp again (I hope)! Here are some pics enjoy! MARTYW
Did you see much braking improvement over the stock ones, if yours had not been warped? Just wondered if the performance was much different? Looks great, by the way.

And to those wondering, yes it is a huge improvement over the stock AWD set up Drove the truck all around today and everything seems awesome so far! Pedal seems much firmer and much much more responsive than its ever felt since I've owned the truck and it stops 10x's better. Like a new truck! I'm happy! Now I just need to do my rear brakes since they are slightly warped and the pads are worn too, and I'll paint the rear calipers and install the SS decals. Makes the truck look so much nicer with painted calipers!
