My code sticker was in my glove box. http://www.gm-trucks.com/rpo-code-lookup/ I was trying to ensure that I have an authentic Intimidator SS. I believe it's the set of digits that are in the 86th position it indicates I have "1SS --PACKAGE OPTION 17" I'm probably wrong as i haven't checked every series of codes. Any input is greatly appreciated. Edited: SSI is the RPO code for the DEI SS package. You would have to contact the DEI corpartion and find out who can get you the info with your VIN number. The documintaion is the only way to prove it is what they say it is... other wise its just another one of the Standard 890 Black 06 SS trucks. Compnine used to be a great source for info but it is now out of buissnes. I believe 1SS in 06 was the SS Apearance package. Since they only made 1,823 Black SS Silverado In 2006 and 933 were DEI models either way its rare. But if it is a DEI model its only Valueble with the supporting documintation. Even then it's Value is determined by what others are willing to pay for it. I was un aware there was an RPO code for The DEI SS Now we know Its SSI Here is a tag From a DEI with cloth seats. Currently Listed for sale on the internet. Granted it is a pain in the arse to find it from time to time. I ended up getting in contact with DEI Chevy devision. Aside from the information about obtaining a COA, the guy was extremely helpful and sent me this email showing all of the RPO codes for my vehicle. He stated that the COA was issued to the original owner n that aside from tracking them down in hopes the still have it, I'm pretty much SoL. We'll see...
