Maddogg20
Hey guys, My master cylinder went out on friday and I cant FOR THE LIFE of me find a replacement one that fits. I have tried up and down 2 years, with discs, or drums, etc and I cant find one. The truck is an 05 silverado Vortec max wit the 6.0 and rear drums. The master cylinder has a total length just over 7.25 inches but everytime they try and look it up they come back with one thats about 9 inches long. i need my truck for work tomorrow. ANY info would be greatly appreciated. ALso, when napa looks up the VIN number it comes back as a truck having rear discs but they sure arent discs. Bad Bowtie
And I always thought the 2005-up Vortec Max package gave you rear disc brakes back!! Call your local GM dealer, get the correct GM PN#, then go AC Delco replacement.
