it's very possible. there are alot of escalade's out there that are bagged. i have seen a write up on it in tailgate magazine. i'll see if i can find out what company did it.

Did it actually state that they kept the AWD?

oh yes, it was still awd. i'm trying to find that article, but i have so many magazines it takes a while.

just happened to look in the pile next to my knee and i found the article.

tailgate magazine issue #23 April 2004.

company that did the bags was:

Merzees Paint & Body

11830 Greenstone Ave.

Sante Fe Springs, CA

Phone: 562-946-0980 Fax: 562-941-8608

if someone calls them, post the info.

this was the awd version. most of the awd's they just take out the front differential on when the bag them, but the new transfercase and traction control system on the awd versions don't allow that. the 04' and newer require the axles to be still functioning. the swap they did was bagged, still awd, and on 23's.
