  1. 1. how many miles have you logged in your SS?

    • 0-5000 garage/show queen
    • 5001-15,000 only comes out when its nice out
    • 15,001-30,000 gas is too many bucks!
    • 30,001-50,000 i usually steal my wifes car
    • 50,001-75,000 theyre limited production, lets not get nuts here..
    • 75,001-100,000 gettin up there in miles, gotta get to work!
    • 100,001 - 125,000 f*ck opec, f*ck gas prices, i bought it to drive it!!!
    • 125,001+ bury me in my cadillac rockbox.....

i think ill put up a poll........... i hit 100k this week!! regular maintenance, new stepper motors in the gauges, brakes, and shocks is all she's needed so far.... getting a lot of maintenance work next paycheck though!!

Rebuilt front diff

Almost everything for the steering has been replaced

new shocks

2 set of tires

Stepper motors

replace the heater contols

New battery

Both wheel bearings

Calipers pads and rotors at least twice. Just the rear cailpers twice.

Its my dd and people still second guess me when I tell them the milage cause I keep it so clean!!!

Front bearings, front rotors, one coil and regular service (brakes, oil, plugs/wires, filter).

 

Lucky so far, but the day is coming soon, I can hear and feel it.

53,000 here.....former daily driver, now she is my toy. :chevy:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On a side note, there is someone here on the forum who has over 210,000 on their SSS. :eek:

218,378 and I drive it daily from York Maine to all over Mass and back, has the original engine, tranny, transfer case, front and rear end. Just changed the original u joint out about a month ago, new alternator, doing new tie rods, balljoints, pitman arm, and idler arm tommorow. just replace the factory cats last week

155,000 here and no problems to report except regular maintenance such as oil changes, transmission fluid and filter, but I do need to change the shocks as they are original. Other than that its doing great! pepsicheer.gif

bought it with 52K on it now has 89,XXX just over two years later! My steering box has started to leak alittle :( other than that just fluid changes, tires and brake's!!!

bought it with 38k now has 102k It has been driven from TN to WA about 6 times now its just over 3k per trip she is holding up nice love it more each day

 

water pump, steering shaft only parts replaced so far

bought it 2 and a half years ago with 28k. daily driven for about 2 years until i bought my denali. its got 55k on it now and it just sits around and waits for the nice days peelout.gif
