Hey Guys,

Are these the only gear ratio options for the SS Silverado?
Is there a way to tell what ratio a SS Silverado has?

Thanks,
Brian

There are a couple guys running 4.56 gears here as well......

Stock gear ratio breakdown.....

AWD SSS - 4.10 gears front and rear
RWD SSS - 3.73 gears in the rear

Thanks for the info.
That explains why the 05's and newer are getting better mpg's

No that would be mainly due to the extra weight of the AWD system rather than the gears... I just did 4.10 swap in my RWD SS and I love them and actually my MPG has increased and so has my top end in the 1/4.

I would agree with Art. To me it seems like the 3:73's just chug the motor along around town. dsnt seem the best thing for mileage

Hey man im running 3.90's and love them i wanted a little more than 3.73 and a little less than 4.10. So i found some 3.90's pretty much because i wanted a high top end still is why i went with 3.90's, but i don't no if it would of made much of a difference with 4.10.
