pirate#3
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2478627388 Anyone seen or heard of these? Is it worth $26.99? I'm going to get the Diablo later on but I'm looking for some cheap extra hp for the moment. Is this basically a set of resistors designed to advance timing? SinisterSS
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is..... RUN AWAY!
dcairns
That looks like the device that plugs in between you knock sensor and the PCM. It reduces the signal from the knock sensor, so you get less timing retard. Not a bad thing if the knock is not truely knock. I think it is just a resistor or two. You can make one cheaper yourself, or beter yet, get a proper custom tune.
lrymal
It is probably an IAT modification using a resistor to fool the computer into thinking it is cooler outside than what it really is. For these motors, avoid it like the plague. $26 is about $23 too much anyway.
superman
Maybe even $24 to much.... Use that money to go into the gas tank
pirate#3
That's pretty much what I figured. Just curious. With gas prices the way they are it's money saved for something more useful.
