chpspecial
interesting, thanks! Looks like ima keep my stock 10 bolt and just upgrade to a true trac, gears, TA Girdle and call it done! chase has two diff taking a beating, not one. IF you are RWD i think you might have to reconsider your statement
shakesvho
if you going to run big power Edited April 27, 2009 by shakesvho (see edit history)
Bear
chase has two diff taking a beating, not one. IF you are RWD i think you might have to reconsider your statement I agree. Even though I have less power than Chase and am AWD, I still blew up the G80. Not that a properly built 10-bolt can't handle a good deal of power, they can, but in a heavy vehicle where there are better choices, I believe I would go with the strongest I could afford. 04CHASE
little update. i did see the block today and its ready to rock. i also purchased my intake manifold. its focking gorgeous!! ill just say its not compostie or cast. but has a shiney finish. engine will be done pretty quick . i will install it within a week of getting it and drive to work for a couple weeks. then its off for the real boost. its about damn time. Supercharged06SS
if you going to run big power not big power tho. 475rwhp tops. I think the 10bolt will be sufficient for that.
