i have a question for you, lets say i put in my new  pcm from you and it pops, or something happens to it, which ive seen personally with a wheatley distributor that had 3 pcms cook on him after he uploaded his tune on his personal truck, what is your policy on that? will i get a warranty of some sort or am i hung out to dry? i work for gm and ive seen some horror shows happen with aftermarket tunes and i do not want to have to deal with those problems in any way shape or form, im not trying to be a d-bag or anything i just have my concerns

Wheatley distributor?

I've never heard about anyones pcm get cooked from a custom tune, seems to me that would be improper installation especially if it happened more than once.

I have had a PCM cooked from a dealer trying to flash a locked PCM. I specifically told them not to flash any updates and they still tried. They ended up buy me a new ECM and paying for my hpt credit to license a new ECM. Only problems I have ever had with ecms frying. I have had nothing but good experience with Mr.Wheatley. He helped me at the drop of a hat, get my truck setup for the local drags just days before the races. We got things dialed in and truck ran its best so far. Fuel system limited. Wheatley has been and is a great tuner to work with. I have a turbo setup and had some idling issues that he helped me fix. Mine wasn't just a basic tune. Idles perfect now. Runs great.

Got my PCM on the way! Just wondering if you got my email asking if you would drop the octane to 91 on the tune? Were a little behind on octane ratings around here.

yes a wheatly distrubter, he flashes the tune into the pcm after he sents it out to the person who tunes with the data he sends the guy, I've only talked to him once, I just want to make sure I don't get screwed out of a pcm

Got my PCM today and I love it! It's a night and day difference from stock. One thing I did find odd though was that I never had to do a security relearn. I got the PCM in and went to do the relearn and the truck fired right up, but I did have to do a crank relearn. The relearn is cake though if you have a quality scanner. All in all I recommend Charlie to everyone!

X2. Couldn't agree more. Didn't know I could love my truck more until I got my Wheatley tune. Charlie's the man.
