70chevy03ss Posted February 20, 2009 Report Share Posted February 20, 2009 the brackets arent a big deal they are just a small 1" long x 2" wide L plate with 3 holes drilled on them for the screws to go through two holes at the bottom of the L and 1 hole on top. Don't know about a plate but you need rivets for the tail gate and only 2 nuts for the side pieces one for the left side and one for the right.. The bolts are molded in.. The bolts are molded in.. The bracket I mentioned here is for the inside hole that you cant see when the tailgate is shut. I believe the tailgate piece itself has 8-10 holes 4-5 on the outside where the original cap is bolted in and 4-5 on the inside. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Im sure you can find bolts and "L" brackets and make your own for cheaper than what the dealer will charge. Also search for the thread of sickchevy06 when they stole his wing you can see the brackets on the bedsides. I have sent him an email about getting a Group Purchase together at a discounted price. It'd be nice if he would give us a bracket. i.e... 1-5 = $200 5-10 = $175 10-15 = $150 15-20 = $125 20+ = $110 etc... THis way more people can commit to more than one wing.
