CoolHand
I have a 2006 Vortec Max 4WD CrewCab with Hvy duty towing package. I need to replace my rotors and I looking for a set that want crack. I have been told that dimpled and slotted rotors would fix my problem. anyone have any ideas as to what rotors I should go with. kaos
i got some drilled and slotted rotors seems to work better than stock got them for like 200 bucks off ebay
Badkarma
most cross drilled rotors will crack between the holes. unless you spend big bucks and get top of the line. and even they do some times. get some good sloted rotors. Cad plated power slot rotors work well.
Fireman31
Power Slot Rotors, wont crack and extrememly difficult to warp.....much better then stock IMO. Make sure to use premium pads such as Bendix or Raybestos with these. The rotors will run your approx. $100 each from Summit Racing....... PSR-8657PSL (left, drivers side rotor) PSR-8657PSR(right, passenger side rotor)

I hope your rotors don't "want crack". LOL!!! BTW, I've heard that Hawk Performance pads work great with the Power Slot rotors too. Hawk does not offer pads for '05 1/2+ models with 13" rotors and rear drum brakes.......
