Big Tim Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Posted February 11, 2009 We did things a little differently, instead of cutting the rubber hoses, we cut the metal lines and used compression fittings. not a big difference. Also, if you use the 4590 kit(which we did) you definitely want a rattle can of matte black paint. Here is a pic of the original cooler (left) compared to my new Tru-Cool 4590 cooler This is just to show where we cut the lines, about 4 inches behind where the lines bend up. With the size of this cooler, we also had to cut holes in the foam(?) filler panel below the cooler for the lines using a hole saw This is a picture of the final assembly, with the new position for the temp sensor.
