At Her Sales Meeting This Morning They Watched A Production Video On The 2009 Model Silverado. The 403hp 417tq 6.2L Will Be An Engine Option For The The 2009's But Not As An SS.. The Trim Level Is The LTZ Crew Or Extended Cab With Color And Options Of Your Choice!! I Built One Online! Not Sure If GMC Is Doing The Same Thing Or Not...She Didn't Know And You Can't Build 09's On Their Site Yet. Also New For 09 Will Be Chrome 20" Wheels Not The Clear Coat Aluminum! She Asked About The SS And Her Sales Mgr Said They Can Sell To A Wider Market If That "SS/Corvette Motor" Was Availible In Any Color Or Cab Configuration. RollinSSHard Posted October 23, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2008 OK An Update/Correction On The 09 6.2L. It Will Only Be Available On The LTZ Trim Level Crew Cab Only. No Regular Or Extended Cab. You Can Choose Between 2wd Or 4wd! Also The 6.2 Is Not Available On The Tahoe Or Avalanche Just Silverado.
