Parking Brake Adjustment.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the parking brakes on a 2003 SS? mine seem to be a little "loose". I can apply them, and the truck still rolls forward slightly when it's in park. They shouldn't be this loose should they? I also think I am about due for a new set of rear pads. Will this make any difference?

Seems like I remember something about this being one of the reasons they went back to a drum brake in the rear.

I'm sure someone will chime in with an easier procedure, but until then to give you an idea of what is being done, here is the adjustment procedure from the service manual.
