Whoever wrote that article on the Camaro does not seem to realize that CAFE stands for Corporate Average Fuel Economy. Not every car has to get 35 MPG. The average for all cars the corporation makes has to be 35 MPG. He makes it sound like any car that doesn't get 35 MPG is dead. ("To survive 35 mpg CAFE, the V-8 Mustang GT would have to somehow nearly double its current average fuel economy. ") Irresponsible reporting. Sorry to change the topic... just had to say something.
