Sweet porn god almighty!!! A traditional direct port, or something more like the NOS injector/Nozzles type thing?

Naa, none of that injector piggyback stuff. 16 hard lines bent in a "theme'd" configuration. This will be the showpiece of the set-up. :chevy:

Ask and Ye shall receive. :P

I have the 408 just about buttoned up in my garage (less the intake). It was on the dyno about 3 weeks ago and put out the numbers I was expecting and at the RPM I was looking for. :chevy: I do not have the numbers sheet in front of me however it made 613 FWHP and 545 lb/ft. of twist peak at 6200-6300 RPM all motor. The power band seems to be from 5000-6500. ...Just what I was looking for. Some wear in time, ported FAST 92, good fuel and a solid tune and I feel this puppy will be in the 625-640 FWHP range easily WITHOUT the healthy shot of juice.

My 408 with the WP, some brackets, coils, lower half of the ABEAR covers, yada, yada, yada:

With the higher electrical demand (EWP, N2O solenoids, gauges...), I felt the need to upgrade to a 200 amp alternator. I will fuse the + wire going to the yellow top as well. I had it powdercoated black to carry my theme. There is a fair amount of dust on it since it has been sitting on my workbench. Don't worry, it will shine up nicely:

Quick shot of my fuel rails (FAST), injectors (FAST), Area 51 relocator bracket, painted bracket...

I am doing an LS6 valley cover to help reduce oil consumption. For those that do not know, the LS6 cover is a better design to help with this. Here is a side by side shot of my new LS6 cover and my stock "LQ9 / LS1" cover:

So, I have the FAST 92 going out for some mild porting and nitrous plumbing  on Monday. I should have it back within a month. In the mean time, I will be cleaning up some little stuff (gauge installs, wiring) along with dropping in the new powerplant. I will give FLT a shout and see how the tranny is coming along and also call Arizona Speed and Marine AGAIN! to get more info on when to expect my headers. Its been close to 14 weeks now!!! I have been working on the tune as well and think I have a file that will at least get me fired up so that I can get the fluids in. We'll see...

Good tip with grinding the paint. I have always used LocTite on the converter bolts ever since I pulled my tranny the first time and found one loose. The crank pulley is a PowerBond 25% underdrive. Its a nice piece and I especially like how deep the belt grooves are and the integrated puller tabs in case I need to take it off.

I hear ya. I will deffinately need help with the tranny. Last time I just about killed myself!

Man Kevin that is one nice set up you got there. Everything looks awesome good luck with it all, I cant wait to see her run.

Thanks Adam. I put alot of time and $$$ into this one so the 1/4 mile times will be late this year or early spring. I want to be sure all is perfect with the tune before I lay on the spray.

The intake is boxed up and going out today! This is the part I have been waiting for...
