supersub Posted December 31, 2007 Report Share Posted December 31, 2007 Does anybody know how to take of the out side door handles for a 2 door. start by pulling trim panel,pull away mirror cover,then inner door handle bezal,remove inner lock switch,by prying outward,remove 7mm bolt,then 7mm bolt below arm rest above inner handle,lift door panel up then out,disconect wiring at conectors,pull back weather sheating and use 10mm with ext to get to handle bolts,lremove clasp that holds rod to back of lock cyl.loosen rod at latch lower by prying open one end and remove handle. AUTOGUY Posted January 1, 2008 Report Share Posted January 1, 2008 (edited) There is also a screw on the bottom side of the door panel. I think the 04's have one under the small plastic cap on the rear of the door panel by the latch too.
