Well...a bump in the road if you will. We found out the # 1 cylinder was leaking some oil, but it must have been a pre-existing condition seeing as how when I replaced the head to the MTI's the stocker #1 was completely fouled. Didn't think anything of it at the time, though it was the head.

Long story short, I bought a used engine that had fire damage to save some time. We are going to keep the 241 head and replace the valve springs and swap the cam and everything else, drop her back in and hopefully start tuning again this weekend.

Looks like I will be having some MTI Stage 2E heads for sale here pretty soon.

The ring had a small chip in it that was rubbed smooth. It's interesting how boost exploits the littliest problems.

Anyway, new engine is in and she's a freight train to 120. We're going to the track on Wed. so vids then.

nice man. i'm anxious to see that video. what #'s are you expecting? low 12's?

I'm not really expecting anything right now. But if I wanted 12's I would have bought a Radix. (No Offense)

I know she's good for 11's, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

nice way of saying I want to go faster

way to go, keep her together and come run @ M12 so I can see this beast.
