wildhawker Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 Well, today was the day. Dealer called, all the papers were ready when I got there. A few [hundred] signatures later... the proud owner of a new Steel Gray 2007 Sierra Classic/VMax/SLT/Crew/Short-box/4x4 (say that 5 fives). I'll be Rhino-lining the bed this Saturday, and (hopefully) getting the tint done by Wednesday next week. After that will be a CAI, cat-back exhaust (checking on Corsa, B&B, Bassani- any other suggestions??), invisi-shield and a grill (hopefully to be installed by the end of April). I'd like to find a dual rear exit exhaust, but it looks like a no go for this model . I look forward to asking lots of questions, and taking lots of pictures as things develop. Started off at 8AM down at the local Rhinoliner dealer in Santa Ana. Came back about 3PM to pick it up, and decided to check out a truck parked at a small industrial park along the way (the monster orange thing in the background of my after photo). Got a wild hair and had House of Tints do up the windows. Joe took good care of me, and I'm very pleased with the results. Outlaw CAI and Husky floor liners are on the way, and next week I'll have a T-Rex vertical billet grill installed. I'd like Corsa or Bassani to build an exhaust, but if all else fails, B&B makes one I'll pick up next week. Not sold on headers yet, Dynatechs at $1500 is a lot of coin for not so much go...
