silveradoss88
This WON'T happen. Nice story though.
6.0sleeperVHO
I'm sure this is fake but, I like how they say it will achieve 25-30 mpg. I already know alot of Vette owners that get this and beyond. I've seen my friend get 34 mpg and up on long hauls in his Z06. I hope that's not their main selling point. DZK
Oh geez, a diesel powered 'Vette would be terrible! Good thing it's all a joke, huh?
SuperSport
The only reason I can see them doing this is to boost there EPA average for the full line of cars.. The new requirement for 2010 will be 35mpg, and currrently I think it is at 30mpg or something like that Edited July 21, 2007 by SuperSport (see edit history)
smalltownguy
haha this is a joke, besides a 5.7L with twin turbos just doesnt even sound right and especially with those kind of numbers, the torque sounds good but the whole idea is almost as bad as the new twin turbo ford power joke!!!! BlackSS04
http://cars.about.com/b/a/217021.htm ---------------thats the link where it was copy and paste NOT A JOKE so it was just a fluke that he posted this on april 1st. that would be silly fast off the line with all that torque and i could imagine top end would be insane too with the twin turbos. you could also modify it like hell to get some crazy numbers out of it. it wouldn't be too environmental friendly though, but then again, what is?
