Holty Posted February 26, 2007 Report Share Posted February 26, 2007 (edited) Allright guys and gals, here are the requirements and rules for SSS.com Featured Truck contests. 1) Member must have been active on the site in the past 30 days. 2) Member must have been a member of the site for AT LEAST 3 months and have at least 30 posts. This is not an either or rule. Members must meet both requirements. 3) Member CAN NOT be a member of the staff or a sponsor. 4) Member must have at LEAST one visual modification or one performance mod to their vehicle. 5) Once a member has won, they can't win again, EVER. A member can nominated until they win or are no longer nominated. 6) Nominees will be notified thru Private Message that they've been selected one month before their vehicle could be featured. Sharing the fact that you've been selected before voting is officially opened will result in disqualification from contest eligiblity permanently. Myself and the rest of the staff browse many other boards as well, so we'll be keeping an eye out for this. This isn't because I want to sound like a jerk and tell you what to do, this is to keep voting and selection as fair as possible. 6a) If the winning member fails to submit a write up on their vehicle, the runner up will become the winner and the original winning member will be allowed to compete again. 7) Members must have at least 3 nominations to be considered for Featured Truck. The three members with the most nominations in a single month will be selected to move on to the vote for Featured Truck contest, with a Maximum of four (4) vehicles being put up for voting in the competition. If we don't recieve enough vehicles to have a fair competition, the staff will randomly select members for nomination and voting. NO SELF NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! PHOTOSHOPPED PICTURES/VEHICLES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! Please send all nominations to USABODYGUARD via PM. In the title of the PM enter the EXACT spelling of the members name AND the phrase "FTC". In the body of the pm just put ... ONLY send ONE nomination PM per contest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this rule is not followed, i will delete the pm and your nomination will not be counted. 8) Voting will be open for the last week ( 7 days ) of the month. Voting is open to everyone and the poll results will not be public. 9) ALL members are eligible for this contest no matter what vehicle they own. This includes but is not limited to SSS's, TBSS's, SS Clones, etc.... 9a)Rule number 9 is NOT up for discussion, the rules are set and this is how it will be. 10) Contest is on a Bi-monthly basis, there will be a contest every OTHER month 11) Each months winner will recieve: Special message board profile distinguishing them as a featured truck winner. Picture and write-up of there truck on the front page of sss.com SilveradoSS.com hat, decals, and a key chain - based on product availability Get to cleanin those rides up boys and girls! Suggestions for improvement are welcome but most bases are already covered. Good luck and enjoy!
