Headers need a sticky thread.

Whats up I am a newbie. I work for Strictly Performance motorsports. http://www.spmotorsports.net/

I actually use the search, & I also look for links that everybody has posted to old topics.

My question is about Billy Boat headers, anybody have them? Are they a good product? I can get a pair on eBay for what I think is a reasonable price.

I could get headers through work but my discount is'nt that great.

2004 SS silverado BLACKED out, magnaflow cat back, & special strictly perfoprmance tune using HP Tuner software.

I would just like to thank every body for thier posts above, so I've made my decision, and now I must save up my money to get them. This is actually a very helpful thread for someone like me, who never delt with headers before.

Thanks guys!

I plan on ordering the dynatech LTs, with the creamic coating, cats, and intermediate pipe. I currently have a corsa with a y pipe before the muffler. I do not know which style o2 sensors I a have. Should I order it with the square style or the trapezoidal? What kind of gaskets would anyone recommend?

looks like I cannot afford dynatech headers at $6-800 dollars for headers right now.

So i was thinking of going with these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PaceSetter-...ksid=p1638.m118

I would like to hook them up with a Volant CAI and GMPP exhaust and some kind of pulley kit to lighten up and add HP along with a 4/6 lowering kit...???

from what i have got from reading Silveradoss.com this would be a good start for bolt on HP

Is there anything i am missing? does my list of mods sound like a good idea? or am i mixing up the wrong combonations of parts?

my truck is just a 06 5.3 silverado so i need to do what i can to get some HP and great sounding exhaust.

any advice?

depending on how far in depth you go as far as parts (headers, cats, cutouts, muffs, and tips) you'll be around the same price as the dynatechs, you'll just have a 3" collector with the pacesetters.
