Fix the steering Shaft clunk in 5 minutes or less

I tried this and mine wouldnt move up and down at all. what gives??

 

 

Go buy a new one.

Changed mine about 4 years ago didn't even bother with this. NEVER had a problem since. So its up to you.

Did this on mine a couple weeks ago. Problem gone since then at least.

 

It WAS a little tricky to get out of the connection but moved freely after that. Theres probably just some rust in it.

 

Make sure not to go spinning the steering wheel side of it when you have it off or you will have problems.

I did this yesterday omg what a difference. I tryed this before but I could not get the shafts apart but I read on here to use a pair of vice grips worked great.

what a difference i was thinking it was my front suspension going bad lol,,,,thanks everyone took my 5 mins jajaja:pepsicheer:
