Vortec MAX
Titans are awesome! FAST, GREAT FUEL ECONOMY, STYLISH,THE BEST,NICEST,TOUGHEST, TRUCKS AROUND.... aTLEAST IT SOUNDED GOOD! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> awesome? They are OK FAST? Respectable for sure (with the big tow package). GREAT FUEL ECONOMY? Now this I would hotly dispute. STYLISH? To some - not me. THE BEST? Not according to Consumer Reports, but it did win a Truck Trend shootout (against a 295 HP 2WD Silverado with 3.42 gears). NICEST? Well, not sure about this. My LT3 trim in my truck is pretty plush. TOUGHEST? Not according to Consumer Reports. They are having issues, and currently have a "much worse than average" reliablility rating. P.S. I know you are being a smart a$$, but I could not leave it unanswered. SoBeGraphics
that consumer reports is such BS. no one is really sure what they are basing that report on. JD Power gives the T a much better review. Those guys at CR are smoking some great stuff when they rate the #1 pick-up for 2007 is the Subaru Baja - LMAO!! I didn't even think Subaru made a p-up. CR is such BS they are basing that review on 2004 models titan which as we all know first year model have issues just like the SS did with the first AWD's. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15638076/
Vortec MAX
Why don't you try to run against SRT10's and Ford Lightnings? Because stock for stock they would scrape the SS all over the road! I suppose this is true stock vs. stock. Chevy hasn't produced a supercharged truck or a truck with the LS7 Corvette motor, so I don't think we would be comparing apples to apples. The SS is the best be have. Is this your way of asking us to leave Titans alone? I'm not sure we started this - did we? By the way, I don't have an SS. Is mine a "real truck?" I have 4WD and a low range and can tow 10,000 lbs. Just looking for you approval, since it means so much to me Ohh Bye The way...I got some videos of me pullin out a couple of Silverado's out of the mud with my Titan! I would post it but I don't want you to lose your egos. Because I use my truck for what it was made to do!....Which is pull out Stuck Chevy's! Read my user name! Anything is possible. I've had my old '83 up to the differentials in mud. Not a fun day. I would not have refused help from a Titan. I'm sure a Chevy has never ever helped a Titan out of a tough spot. They would not need OUR help - no way. Jeez, this reminds me of grade school. Hey, I bet my dad can beat up your dad - ya whinin' sissie. JD Power gives the T a much better review. Well why didn't you say so. The opinion of SoBe is really what counts. I would certainly value your opinion over Consumer Reports. Now I wish I'd bought the Titan. Damnit! Oh and that link - I did not realize that the Titan was THE LOWEST rated pickup for reliablility. Thanks for pointing that out. Oh, but wait - that is BS. SoBe says it aint so. Which truck is the lowest rated then? A Chevy? Mike

Better than a Chevy? A subaru better than a chevy. c'mon now. say it... you can't huh... say it... s u b a r u is better than c h e v y? c'mon now. Note: please do not speak for me. People use Chevy's for real work. They are real trucks. How many people buy 96 cinder blocks, or 1/2 yard of gravel and haul it around in a Subaru. Give me a break! When you call a car a truck and compare it's reliability to a truck that actually get used as a truck, what do you expect? Wait - where was the Titan again? Oh I guess that means the Subaru is WAAAAAY better than a Titan and only marginally better than the Chevy. In fact, they are at completely opposite ends of what is good and what is bad. Who's the flamer? Yeah it does sound like grade school and your eating it up like applesauce. grow up and don't play into a flamers post. I don't want to grow up if those who have attained such maturity drive Titans, and act in a manner such as yourself Mike Edited December 11, 2006 by Vortec MAX (see edit history)
SoBeGraphics
Nice rationalization Mike... grow up. A survey that considers the subaru a truck just doesn't hold water imo. It doesn't show how bad, or good, the chevy is so you are speculating. Anyway's i really dont care. My truck has been to the dealer only once. Me a flamer. hardly... just keepin it real. I think i read this once somewhere... Arguing on the internet is like the special olympics... you may win but your still a retard.
Vortec MAX
I enjoy a battle of the minds, but I am starting to feel bad that you haven't brought any ammo. If you are this model of maturity we should be striving for, then nobody on this forum wants to "grow up." Catchy phrase though. Quite original. SoBeGraphics
whose battling? you are speculating on how the chevy did in a CR report where they consider a subaru as a p-up?
