Bowtie70SS Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 I have a how-to request. I need a little info on the wire color and location for the RPM signal. Can I pull it off of one of the coils? I saw that you can configure the LM-1 depending on how many pulses per rev. I don't have the enhanced EIO for my HPT (yet) and I wanna get this thing hooked up and logging so I can accurately tune my truck. It kinda sucks that they pretty much did away with serial ports, I have to use a USB adapter. Any info is appreciated...I did check their forum but there's not much info on real cars. 04CHASE Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 ny laptop got lucky and has a serial port, id like to do the rpm converter too because it isnt much use except to monitor without it, but imo i already have hp tuners so i am probably going to stick with that! lmk how it turns out!
