j4nash Posted September 8, 2003 Report Share Posted September 8, 2003 Why don't you just go buy a better flowing muff than getting a factory SS Muff that does not flow as good? 02denali Posted September 8, 2003 Author Report Share Posted September 8, 2003 right now i have bullet mufflers which have no backpressure.and decent dynomax cats that flow good.i have a friend that has installed an exhaust off a hd and it is quiet and he did not lose any times at the track.i travel more now that i am getting married and would like to quiet it down some.figured since the ss runs good it would probably flow the best. rico750sxi Posted September 10, 2003 Report Share Posted September 10, 2003 Gm exhaust do seem like they have been good as far as flow and performance lately. 02 denali, do you know if my SS muffler is a true dual outlet? It has 2 pipes exiting but I heard one is a dumbie? I want to put dual pipes exiting out under the bumper and I'm either getting a flowmaster muffler then having someone bent the pipes or keeping the stick muffler and cutting off the tail and then bending pipes.
