just make sure it will work on your truck charger. The snout may be different. I'd call/email them to be sure :flag:

nah i think i sold that one to justin, jnash....the only cam i have left is my stocker...shit ive been through 4 or 5 cams now :yellow_loser:

242/242 - damn! Did the lifters show any wear or damage? Also, I know CompRs are going in, were they in there already or is this the first time in? I got a little confused.

nah the lifters didnt really show a damage maybe just normal wear so thats good, i guess tackle the problem before major stuff happens, but there were a little weak, so we just swapped all of them instead of trying to figure out which one was bad. CompRs are going back in or should i say are back in, they were in there before. The are loaded @ .0052, i know you mentioned Comp recommends .002-.006.

Like the new cam? should be something like 242/242 .560s/.560s 114 vs the old one 241/247 .588/.594 113.

I hope you get it figured out man. Nothing worse than spending a bunch of money and not gettign the power you expected. :(

isnt that the truth :banghead:

justin when you running that truck at the track?? gotta meet up sometime again.

I was gonna got to Infineon on Wed but I doubt the weather will play nice. We still have some tuning and work to be done but it would be nice to see what it does at this power level. I'm also still battling an oil/coolant leak. I htink my heads were decked wrong because its the same sid eleaking. :(

Best I can do as far help goes, is these guys, they seem to be very M90 smart.

http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/index.php

ok, you guys ought to find this amusing!!! :banghead:

emailed them for some info... THEY WERE NO HELP!

here is the email conversation...

me: Live Support Message Delivery:

I installed an M90 setup on my 2003 Silverado LQ9 AWD truck along with 42#

injectors, 255# walbro fuel pump and a dyno tune. Problem is I am only

seeing 1.4# of boost max during our dyno runs, it made 330 rwhp which is

low as the 6.0L is a 345bhp engine to begin with.

It pulls hard but I feel with the parts I have and the M90 it should have

much more boost. Can I run a smaller pulley and increase the boost?

I know the M90 for the silverado was originally intended for '99-'01 5.3L trucks,

is there a problem with running it on my 6.0L? Any help would be great!

thanks

Brian

response: Did you purchase any of your parts from us?

me: no I did not, but from your website it looks like you guys know your stuff

response: we do but are understaffed and only offer tech support for specific items we have sold. Time is $.

me: ok, well thanks for nothing!

I was asking for help with a problem which MAY lead to buying new parts, pulleys, belts, etc...

I guess I'll figure it out myself and buy my parts somewhere else.

I don't get it, I figured a place that's sells parts for a particular item might want their (potential) customers to understand some issues with them and want to help correct them, that's what makes return customers or am I wrong?

oh well...thanks for your TIME$

WTF OVER?!?!?! :dunno::smash::banghead:

those guys SUCK!
