I see from the links it looks like a die set. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Basically, a helicoil is a set of new threads that you put into an oversized drilled out hole. The helicoil threads are sharp on the back side to *cut* into the oversized hole, while at the same time giving the bolt threads something to hold onto as well. As the bolt or stud is twisted into the helicoil, the helicoil threads spread outward and cut harder and harder into the hole walls to hold it into place...
